Which accessories do I need for which petWALK installation location?
The right accessories for your petWALK pet door depend primarily on the chosen installation location. To simplify your planning, we have clearly summarized the most important components for various installation situations.
What do I need for a fixed glass or panel installation?
Depending on the thickness of the glass pane or panel, additional spacers may be necessary. The spacer is a frame that is placed between the pane/panel and the petWALK inner frame. The exact number of spacers required will be automatically displayed in the configurator as soon as you enter the thickness of the window pane/panel.

What do I need for a door or glass door installation?
To prevent the petWALK door from colliding with a wall or other objects, a magnetic contact is advisable. This reports to the petWALK door when the house door is opened. The petWALK then remains closed or closes immediately.

What do I need for a wall installation?
For wall installation, the wall opening must be lined. Special plates and extensions for the threaded rods are available for this purpose, so that the wall thickness specified in the order can be bridged well. In addition, a direct power connection in the wall is a neat and clean solution, especially for new buildings.
- Tunnel set – available in 10-step increments. For a wall thickness of e.g. 30.5, it is necessary to choose the next size. (automatically ordered when ordering via the configurator)
- Flush-mounted power supply (if you want to lay the power connection directly in the wall to the petWALK door to avoid hanging cables)
Indoor and outdoor decor are required for every pet door.
Every petWALK pet door requires an indoor and an outdoor decor. While you can flexibly choose between acrylic glass and HPL for the interior, only HPL (high-pressure laminate) is possible for the outdoor decor, as this material is extremely weather-resistant, UV-stable, and durable.
The decors are simply attached using a clever industrial hook-and-loop system, allowing them to be swapped without tools at any time should your furnishing style change.

You can easily select the appropriate decor for your pet door directly in the configurator during the ordering process. While the weather-resistant HPL is automatically set for the exterior decor, you will find a flexible switch for the interior decor design: Here, you can switch between elegant HPL colors, acrylic glass variants, or the option for your very own individual design with just one click.
What accessories are recommended for all installation locations?

petWALK.control
Enables the door to connect to the internet (thus enabling app control, connection to voice assistants like Amazon Alexa TM etc.). -
Alarm connection cable
Connect the petWALK pet door to your home's alarm system and make your home even more secure. -
Extension cable
If the nearest power outlet is more than 1.5 m from the petWALK door, we recommend ordering the extension cable. -
Paw mat
The paw mat ensures a clean floor. The carpet in petWALK format absorbs dirt from paws before they touch the floor. -
RFID tag
The RFID tag is attached to the collar. Once programmed, the petWALK pet door will only open for your pet if desired. One tag is included with each order. If you have several pets, it is recommended to order additional chips.
In the last step of the configurator, you will find the optional flush-mounted power supply, the magnetic door contact, the alarm relay, or practical extension cables at a glance.
