A small box connects every petWALK door to the Internet and opens up groundbreaking new possibilities! It allows you to easily control and configure your door from anywhere in the world and integrate it with other cloud-based services. With a little skill, any petWALK owner can install it themselves. You can find help with installation and operation in the petWALK.control User Manual or in the section "Troubleshooting and Messages" .



Control via app

Once connected, petWALK.control makes it child's play to operate the door via the petWALK app. Use the remote control, your mobile phone, any web browser or smart home devices like Amazon's Alexa™ to control your door from anywhere. The app is available for both Android and IOS operating systems and can be downloaded free of charge.



Voice control

“Alexa, ask petWALK to open the door!” This and similar voice orders will be heard quite often in the near future. petWALK is the first premium pet door that can not only be controlled via an app on a smartphone, a web browser, or a smart home system, but in the future will also be able to communicate with digital assistants such as Amazon's Echo™. Gone are the days when you were your pet's butler! Sit back and enjoy your new freedom.

All you need is a petWALK pet door with a built-in petWALK.control module and a digital, voice-controlled assistant. Installation


With a little skill, any petWALK owner can retrofit the system themselves in 3 simple steps. If you are planning to retrofit the system, make sure you order the correct number of spacers for your installation thickness. If in doubt, contact our customer service. The petWALK.control module is L: 11 cm x W: 5.5 cm x H: 2.2 cm and is installed in the door and connected to the electronics. Instructions for the installation steps with pictures are included. If you order a new door module and the petWALK.control, we will install the box directly in the door.


Setup

In the petWALK.control manual, you will find a detailed step-by-step guide for setting up your petWALK.control module. 

In addition, we have created a helpful tutorial video that visually guides you through the entire process. In this video, we show you the essential steps of the setup so that you can get your petWALK pet door up and running quickly and smoothly. We cover all the important steps, such as registration, adding your pet door, as well as registering and assigning your pet.
