Installation types
Thanks to our well-thought-out system, the petWALK pet door can be installed in almost any structural component. It doesn't matter whether you are looking for a solution for a solid wall, a modern glass front, or an existing door. Here you will find an overview of the most common installation types and the corresponding video instructions:
Installation in glass & insulating glazing
Installation in a glass surface is one of the most elegant solutions. The existing glass pane is replaced with a new pane with a factory-cut opening. This has the great advantage that the installation is reversible at any time - if you move out, for example, the original pane can simply be reinserted. Your trusted glazier will prepare the pane, and the installation of the petWALK pet door itself can be completed in just a few steps.

Wall installation
A wall installation offers maximum flexibility in placement and is often the preferred choice for new builds or core renovations. Thanks to optional tunnel extensions, the petWALK pet door can be adapted to any wall thickness up to 70cm and closes flush with the facade and the inner wall. Thermal insulation is maintained through airtight installation.
