How long does it take to deliver my petWALK pet door?

Have you already decided to order a petWALK pet door and still have some questions about delivery? Congratulations! You will receive shortly the most advanced pet door in the world. How long the delivery takes depends on several factors. In general, we are very fast and you may receive your delivery the next working day.

Due to high demand, there may currently be delivery bottlenecks. We recommend placing your order as early as possible, as orders are processed in the order they are received as soon as possible.


Decors

Standard colors of the decors are generally always in stock.
Whether an item is currently in stock or not is displayed next to the item in the shopping cart. If the item is not in stock, the remaining delivery time is displayed. This can also be viewed in your customer account after ordering and is continuously updated in the event of unexpected delays. Special colors and individual prints can be found in acrylic 3-4 weeks , HPL decors even 8-10 weeks in production.

Pre-orders

The petWALK pet door is constantly being developed further. All new features can be retrofitted to existing doors. We offer the Possibility of pre-order so that customers who have been waiting for the new features for a long time can receive the products first. We try to choose the delivery date so that delivery within the specified period is realistic. However, delays do occur again and again, especially with new products. We ask for your understanding in this regard.

Other factors:

  • the payment: If you value fast delivery, we recommend paying by credit card or Paypal. These authorize the payment immediately. Bank transfers can take between one and five working days - depending on the country of origin. Bank transfers from Switzerland take the longest, at around one working week.
  • the order time: If we have received payment and all items are in stock, we will ship your order immediately. The parcels are picked up by the parcel service every day in the early afternoon. Orders that arrive in the morning and meet all the criteria for immediate shipping are usually shipped the same day.
  • Partial delivery: If you urgently need the petWALK door module for installation, but not all items are in stock, you can ask us for a partial delivery. This only makes sense if all the accessories required for installation are also in stock (e.g. door module, tunnel set, flush-mounted power supply). The decorations have no effect on the function of the petWALK door and are therefore not necessarily required for installation. Please request the partial delivery in a separate email after ordering.
  • Delivery time and tracking number: As soon as the package leaves our location, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation with the tracking number by email. You can use this number to track the status of your shipment at https://gls-group.eu/AT/de/home. Due to the current global circumstances, delivery times can vary greatly. You can find the current delivery times in your shopping cart when you place your order.

Important for delivery:

Once you have received the package, test the petWALK pet door immediately without installing it. Each petWALK door is tested for proper functionality before shipping. If the petWALK door is damaged, it occurred during transport. Therefore, please always check immediately and complain directly to the GLS courier. Thankfully, this only happens in exceptional cases. What to do if there are problems with delivery?

If you are not at home on the first delivery date, we will deliver in the following days. two further delivery attempts and then the package is left at the nearest GLS partner shop for collection. The GLS courier will leave a corresponding collection slip in the mailbox. If the delivery takes an unusually long time, please contact the GLS parcel service. If the package is visibly damaged upon delivery, refuse to accept the package and contact us immediately.
